Addressing Gender Inequalities to Improve Sexual & Reproductive Health Outcomes

Donor: Christian Aid & Comic Relief

This project was an outcome of the previous project on Maternal and Child Health funded by the European Union through Christian Aid and aims to address gender issues impacting on sexual and reproductive outcomes – a Maanda Initiative. The project seeks to encourage the community to recognize the sexual reproductive health rights of women and address retrogressive cultural practices that undermine the well-being of the family. The project area is in the Narok South and Narok West sub-counties (12CU’s). The project runs from October 2014-September 2017.
